How do I set my V3 to show my phone number at power on ?

My SW is R374_G_0E.40.3ER_A. I tried XLR8's 0126 and 0032 seems for this, but I can't get it to work.

In particular, I don't know how to set 0126, offset 00, bit7 and offset 04, bit 5 -- should one be a '0' and the other be a '1' ?

There's also 0032, offset 48, bit 1 involved.

Thanks

Seem 0126_0001 is for the triplets series phones not your v3. Just edit Seem 0032_0001 Offset 48 Bit 1 (Check = On)

if your SIM card does not have the number programmed into it, you will not even see it at power-on, do this: press the menu button (top centre) and press the # key quickly, then if you see them all empty, edit the first box with your name/number.. re-start and see if that helps.

Thanks for your help. It still doesn't work. My 0032, #48 is the same as yours (except I also have bit 0 set - it's for 'DL_DB_FEATURE_ID_ACTIVE_PHONE_LINE_SHOW_ICON_AND_ TEXT_AVAILABLE' -- nothing to do with this).

The phone comes up with my Greeting (Settings > Personalise > Greeting), then it starts searching for the network etc. On my other phones (V535, V330), I have it working OK.

p.s. Do you know what the 'Banner Graphic' is (also on the Personalise menu) ?

perhaps your custom greeting is overriding your number on power up, try removing your greeting and see if that helps.
