How to watch DVD quality video on my Sharp 903???

Hi every, can some please tell me what sofware I should use to rip dvd quality video and store it in the SD and watch it on my Sharp 903??
Also what resolution size should I use when coverting to fit my 903 screen.
Hope someone can either point me to an article or feel free to write about it here. Please provide link for the program as well thx.
