Make Mp3 Ringtones Clearer?

hey i was wondering if anyone knew a way to make ringers sound clearer. maybe changing the format of the ringtone, like the bitrate or something. for the most part most songs a re fine but a few songs i like sound horrible as ringers, for example "i really mean it" by cam'ron, or "reunited" by wu tang clan. please no flaming just serious responses because i know i am not the only one curious.

best thing u can do is play with the EQ settings in Cool Edit or something similar... cant change format or bitrate because the phone wont accept it. Lower the bass or soemthing...

U mean that hissin sound? Well in cool edit pro there is an option 2 help eliminate that hissing sound! I've done it but, it makes the tone sound like a lower quality on ur fone. Ur best bet is 2 make the volume of the tone just louder enuf 2 mask the hissing sound (from experience)!
