Totally Coolio!

Posted by: totaltoanage

yeah...i didnt download the original jap version cause i cant find it. got this from a friend. The dubb for this version isnt that bad compared to like say full metal alchemist, so i rather watch it in english.

Posted by: FoneNut

Noob question. After downloading the video, what do I do to play it in my phone? Sorry. I just got my phone yesterday.

Posted by: totaltoanage

you open it with winrar and copy the files a folder. open up your SD card with a card reader, and rename each movie clip to "MOLXXX" X can represent numbers or letters but i suggest using numbers. also put them each into the SD Video>PRL001 folder in chronical order. then open media player and open video sd video.

Or if you have Moviestage, put the movies in a folder and open HDD to that folder name and let it refresh. THen its just click and drag.

Remember to get the SD Video folder you must go to your camcorder and set it as Video Setting>Record time>Extended video> yes for SD video.

THANKS! it works but check with u, is the 1st episode only a few secs long? cos it just stops at a particular section

Posted by: totaltoanage

nope its supposed to be 21:12 seconds.

Posted by: FoneNut

do u happen to have a full version of the Win AVI convertor?

Posted by: totaltoanage

yes but i dont use it. everything can be done with tmpg encode.

Hi totaltoanage!

Could you give me some advice please?

I have a few files that are Windows Media Audo/Video files.

Can I just rename these to MOL001, MOL002 etc, or do I need to do some extra conversions?

I will also search for some answers !

Ofiaich

Posted by: Timsta

you can rename them.. but best if you used the software to put them on that way.

Posted by: ofiaich

Timsta!

thanks! I got some Utada Hikaru video/songs and would love to see those on my 902!

Renaming them didn't work... so I will try the software later today.

I also have a Real Media Utada Hikaru with is great! But my brain is not so good when it comes to converting!

Thanks again!

Suddenly my 512 mb SD card doesn't seem so big anymore. Thanks for the videos!

Posted by: totaltoanage

nope, sharp only recognizes some 3gp and asf video files. go on http://www.debbybrown.f2s.com/sdguide/layout.htm for the complete guide.

If you guys are done feel free to ask for more episodes.

Hi totaltoanage !

I was looking at Moviestage and also the complete guide that you posted for us and can see the following..

- A Conversion Settings dialog box should appear. Select the Output Format as Sharp 902SH. Set the Quality to High.

When I select a file in Moviestage and choose 'convert' I can not see Sharp 902 in the Output Formats.

I can see

D-Snap (SV-AV25/AV50)
D-Snap (SV-AV100/MPEG4)
D-Snap (SV-AV20)
WMV

I am sure it is version 2.5 that I am using!

Thanks for any advice.

you need to install the registry edits for moviestage. but the quality of the movies are not as high as regular SV100 MPEG4 750 kbps at 15 fps.

Posted by: ofiaich

Thanks very much, totaltoanage!

Done it now... and can see the 902 there already..

thanks again!

There's actually a drag and drop thing that does basically the same thing at lower quality. You can get it free here. http://www.nurs.or.jp/%7Ecalcium/3gpp/
When you setup you click on SD-Video and then select QVGA High quality in the converter. Then just drag and drop. It autorenames so you can just output the files to the SD card.

Hi uber0!

I have tried this one also and it doesn't work 100% of the time but the results were quite good. Some skipping on playback....

Hi!

Well, the 3GPConverter worked well on Sunday, but today, it does nothing when a file is dragged and dropped!

I have reinstalled it and re-run the setup etc... but it doesn't want to work!

Any advice welcomed!

Ofiaich

Posted by: totaltoanage

some work some wont. best way is get it to avi format with tmpgenode, if you want the volume louder use goldwave and recode the video to avi..then moviestage converts it into asf.

Posted by: uber0

Yeah if a lot of your videos don't work in 3GPConverter than it's probably best to stick with moviestage.

Posted by: ofiaich

totaltoanage and uber0!

thanks very much to you both for your help and advice!

I think all is working smoothly now and I understand well! I have converted my favourites and the all work so well on my 902!

Just need to buy some SD cards when I am in Japan next month! Sure to be cheaper than here!
