When will we BLUE employees loose this great great thing called true-up????

Janurary 1st 2006, and blue charged back for features as well.

From my understanding true will go untill the end of the year (so your last true up will probably be in jan or feb for december).

Regarding features, do what I started doing before I left; When a customer comes in with an issue regarding a feature not working, remove the feature and add it back on as well as troubleshoot and fix whatever issue they were having. There is no sense in you fixing an issue for a rep that didn't do their job and made sure the customer was all set.

Not after six months though!

Hell cingulars changed their feature plans at least once in six months and at least twice in one year and the chances of customers not changing to a better plan (and therefore giving the reps chargebacks) is slim.

And to add insult to injury cingular cut the feature commission in half and then has the gull to inlcude "spiffs" on certain features bring the com back up to where it originally was and makes it out like they are doing us a favor.

Yea if you tried that ish in my market, you'd have your *** served to you. We watch our chargebacks religously. You or CS takes our codes and we find out, we reconcile and get our money back. As for CS doing this, in the past couple of months they haven't really been doing this.

I think we'll all be on the same comission structure by this date, or at least that's my understanding. Sure we will get true-up past this date, but it will be for commission from Dec.

Yea, I am hoping for some changes in the feature department, maybe at least some tiered payout for higher volume or something. I have my doubts that will happen though. I think the Cingular rewards will kick in around the holidays as well.

Yeah, they owe me about a $17,000 true up. Not these petty $180 checks I've been getting that barely buy groceries and fill my gas tank!

What is true-up?

Posted by: Alfred_Neuman

i had about 300$ in features removed/added by cs and other reps over the past 5 months.

bah.

i just say f it and re do it.

Anyone know when the next true up check is supposed to come out? (SF market if that matters).

i agree thats a snake move, if everyone does that then a feature will almost never last for 6 months in anyones codes and no one will ever get paid for it.

It's a fact and it has and did happen. How you guys want to deal with it is up to you.

I'm about ready to esculate a bunch of feature deact type situations up through the management chain.

I recommend everyone else do the same so our company changes the system, structure, or company policy regarding the removal and add on of the same feature. I personally would like to see every employee in the practice of this terminated for unethical behavior.

And yes you can change the rate plan without removing features, learn how to do it... (just for those few who I know will counter with that argument)

granted im not corp just exclusive but our decomp period is only 90 days and agent que is who i call when i troubleshoot issues and they have never decomped me on anything
