Aight guys...its been a very long time since I've been here to look at phones. The last thing I bought was a gx32 and I sold it because getting new phones and being disappointed in them wasn't something I was all to happy about.
I saw the 902sh and the Europe equivilant but it didn't entice me enough to come back. This new 903Sh looks really cool - so far I know there is a Sharp sx833 that is red with red unchangable menus which IMO sucks. My question can be answered with a simple yes or no. Those ebay auctions for the sharp 903sh locked - will they be able to unlock them? Was there any success to unlocking the 902sh because last time I heard Japanese phones were impossible to unlock. Any useful updates and info is much appreciated. Thanks guys

The 902SH was unlocked many months after it first sold, and it was done so through a firmware hack. My understanding is that the 903SH hasn't been successfully unlocked yet, with most of those on eBay claiming to be able to unlock them not being honest. As yet I haven't heard from someone with an unlocked 903SH...

I have been on this "survey" over unlocking for almost 15 days, so let me tell you: noone is ready to do it. HK unlockers are racing to try to get the problem solved but nothing has been released yet. There is even some IMEI rumors, but not heard of anyone getting sucess with it. Anyway, the JP version on ebay is cheaper than HK (unlocked) and some UK (locked/unlocked) ones. You have to take a decision, buy now and wait for the unlock solution, or wait for it to bereleased and then pay more for the same device.
There is no expected date for this to happen.
Good luck man, I am also on the same boat, but holding my device already!
