Hi im Nate and im new here,
i just moved from Florida to Maine(bummer i know)
and i have a Motorola V80 but it doesn't work here in Maine,
so i have to move to US Cellular...and want the KX2 Koi...i dig the swivel,like my Motorola V80,and want to know if you can unlock or convert a Verizon Wireless KX2 to work with US Cellular...i like the silver KX2 better than the one US Cellular offers...and US Cellular claimed that they discontinued the phone...Oh and also will a Criket KX2 Koi work with US Cellular.....Thanks to anyone who replies...

I am curious about this too! Ive seen ways to convert other phones but rarely does a Kyocera come up... neither does LG.

technically yes it is possible. BUT getting a carrier to do it is right up there with men giving birth.

With a Kyocera it's actually not quite so bad.
When you flash a Kyocera you can choose what provider it's for. Just pick USCC. Then take the phone into a company-owned store so they can see that it "is" a USCC phone.

doesn't need to be unlocked, we can activate any cdma phone on the network and it WILL work.....problem will be finding someone willing to do it for you

I sold my Nokia cause it sucked and Unicel sucked and am with US Cellular with the blue version which i like now better than the verizon one...lol

Flashing a phone is pretty much loading an operating system on it, be it the same one or a newer version
