Well then, i got a 903 of ebay a couple weeks back and got it unlocked by some geezer of the net and my orange sim works fine but i cant send picture or go online what can i do.
If i got it unlocked by vodafone would that help or do i need to change something ...

Is it a UK 903sh version? Or a Japanese one? or a sx833 HK version?

Maybe your problem is just a matter to configure WAP/GPRS and MMS with your provider.

dont know what the mystery about unlocking it is, a dude on the net does it but your best bet is vodafone they do it for 25 pounds...

if anyone can give me the settings for WAP/GPRS and MMS for orange ill try that although ive tried it with a payasyou go vodafone sim card still cant use wap or send pics AAAAA.

can you post a picture with the clear theme and your main menu to show your operator logo? that would reall help out

sorry dont have a camera thats why i got the 903 LOL

so cant take a pic whats the clear screen anyhoo my operator logo didnt change when it was unlocked still comes up 3g vodafone when it starts up, then when booted up the text says orange

Are you sure its the 903SH? If so, then you'd be the first person known to have it unlocked, which seems unlikely.

-Is your phone black, with a black theme?

If both the above are true, and you can't change the theme/menu icons, you've almost certainly got the 903 and not the 903SH.

my phones black and i cant change the themes the box says 903 but when i take the battery out on the phone it say 903sh..im not sure

Hmmmm, I think their website's misleading.

HumzaGSM claim they can unlock "Japan 903" that begin with a certain IMEI number... I think they're just being lazy and calling the 903 Japanese when in fact it's not. I've e-mailed and asked them to clarify about the 903SH - don't expect they can unlock it though.

I also got in touch with Humza, he is nice. But for now, he is able to unlock just a serial IMEI number, and not every 903sh JP version.
Our friend over here has for sure an UK version of 903.
I guess there are hundreds (or thousands) waiting for the 903sh jp version to be unlocked, but seems that we will have to wait for a while. Wish it could be simple to get an IMEI to unlock... I also saw some guys on an Australian forum saying that they had contacted Vodafone Japan asking for the unlock code, but they are all denied...
Anyway, we have to sit and wait for a while.

I've heard the JP ver will be unlocked within a few weeks, hopefully one or two. That's why I ordered a JP ver which will come next Monday.

Surely the very essence of unlocking means you can't reliably estimate when it'll be ready - you either know how to do it/know which bit of the firmware to hack or you don't?

Do you think is it going to be able to unlock trough IMEI? Actually the Japanese firmware is nice, I wish I could stay as it is instead of flashing the chinese (HK) version.

The info is leaked out by a member of 902sh hacking group, I heard. I don't know whether it's true or not, but I believe unlocking the 903sh is just the matter of time.

I don't think its the Japanese 903SH but a V903 UK version la. So far I have only seen sx833 only that can be unlocked by Vodafone and everything works. However, if it was unlocked by Vodafone themselves, your 903 UK version should get its wap/mms working fine tho. I think someone on this forum got theirs working with this method for unlock...is it....i forgot his nick. search around.
