How much does the Silver or Black Razr cost with a 1 year contract price through a Cingular store?

Also, how much is the activation fee with a 1 year Cingular?

Thanks in advance for anyone's help.

i dont know about 1 year...but 2 year is $199.99 and $36 for new activation, $18 for upgrade. Sams sells the razr for $147.87 for 2 year, $177.87 for upgrade...and if you buy it there, they'll sell you a plantronics M2500 for like $5.

One BILLION dollars!

Seriously...WTF is that sort of question? You can't call a Cingular store or go down there? Heck, SEARCH. Amazon has it for FREE after rebate.

it is free after rebate, however you must wait two months to get your rebate, and you cannot be an existing customer and do this offer...

Dude, what is your problem?

You need to sit back and take a deep breath. Geez.

First of all, I don't have time to go to the store since I am in college full-time, and have classes 5 days a week plus school clubs on the weekend. Second, Amazon wants a two year contract, not a one year.

So, if you read my post, I said that I want a 1 year contract, not a two year contract.

Tom, which rebate are you talking about? An Amazon rebate? Or a Cingular rebate?

you please explain further to me?

Thanks for your help. I appreciate it.

Gamer103,
Just go to Best Buy or some store similar. The razr is like 150.00 for a 1 year contract (no rebates to mess with or wait for). the activation is still probably 36 bucks, but not sure. This was the price about three weeks ago when i got mine there.

If you go to a Cingular store and they are selling the phone for $199 with a two year, add $50 to that price and you should get the price of the one year contract. That is what I do to all phones when I am selling them on a one year on every carrier but T-Mobile. Also the activation fee for a single line on Cingular is $36.00, and that WILL be on your first bill.

Any other questions? Yes, I do work for Cingular.

I need to add a line in our family talk plan and was thinking about getting a Razr as well.

I noticed there are a lot of places offering them for free with 1 year contract.

What's to prevent me from signing up as a new customer to get the free phone, and than transfer it to familytalk plan? Just curious if that is possible.

Thanks.

to get those rebates to make it free you have to wait 6 months. if you signed up as a new customer and transfered it to be an add-a-line then you will not qualify for the rebate. if you wait 6 months to transfer it to be an add-a-line you are paying an extra $30/mo ($39.99 vs $9.99) and 30 * 6 = $180 and im sure that $19 difference will easily be made up by the taxes on 2 seperate plans.
