Where are the built-in ringtones

I had a vx4400 but gave that to my wife. I now have a vx8100 but it doesn't have any of the built-in ringtones that the 4400 had. Is there any way to extract the ringtone files (are they even midi?) from the vx4400 so I can put them on the 8100? I have all the stuff to do it (cable, bitpm, bluetooth, etc.) just don't know what I should be looking for.

Thanks

I don't know anything about the vx 4400 but I do know about the vx 8100 and that you can put real full songs as your ringer. Very simple let me know if you want to know more I'll be here.

I found all the info on how to get new ringtones and song ringtones on my phone, but thank you for the reply. I'm just looking for a way to get the built-in ringtones from my vx4400 to my vx8100. It's a hard thing to search for because I don't even know if they are considered built-in, I don't know if they are midi, etc.

One thing I could tell you is look for them on the internet download them and then put them onto ur phone?

Sorry to necro an old thread, but I'm also looking to get my 4400 stock ringtones onto my new LG (though mine happens to be a 7000). I've combed through the filesystem and searched the net to no avail. I know I can email something _like_ it to my phone, or even record the 4400 playing, but it's just not the same.

Any ideas? The ringer I want most is Nocturne (which is a portion of Chopin's Nocturne No. 20 in C sharp minor).

Thanks
