Hey Everyone,
Is there a way to set the predictive text option as the default text type when writing a new text message? Each time I go to write a new text message I have to scroll through the different type options to get to predictive text.

Yes you can.

Try to find Entry Setup, then select Primary Setup. Choose between iTap, Tap and Tap Extended. Something like that.

The next time you start a new message, it should default to your newly selected Primary.

hmm can't seem to find Entry Setup, I have Initial Setup under settings but there is nothing about text messages in there..

I don't have a Motorola handy. (Haven't for a while now!) rme8494, can you walk goducks through the steps?

I think you have to start a text message first, then find the option. Maybe. I forget.

correct you are. after you start a text message, hit the menu key and you'll see the "Entry Setup" menu item

Thank you all. I could not figure it out for the life of me... Starting a message worked perfect.
