I want to get a GoPhone Pick Your Plan.

Would it be cheaper to get the Razr at a Cingular store and activate there, or would it be cheaper to get an unlocked Motorola Razr V3 on Amazon's website?

I used that chat feature on Cingular's website to find out that I would need a Cingular GSM phone or an unlocked GSM phone to use with the GoPhone Pick Your Plan. Which would be the smarter way to go? I would think the unlocked phone so then I could use it with whatever provider that I want.

neither one of your options is going to be cheap.

I suggest that you buy the phone from someone reputable on ebay.

www.howardforums.com.com has the Black RAZR for $279.00+shipping; that is actually cheaper than Cingular ($299.99+tax for GOPhone) Unless Cingular has dropped the price in the last week or so.
