Trouble With ENS Enabled Phones?

Has anyone else had trouble with Cingular ENS enabled phones? Here are the issues that I had with two Cingular Nokia 6010's with the 64K National SIM and ENS enabled:

Both phones would take anywhere from 30 seconds to 90 seconds on power up to find the network and display "Cingular". The average time would usually be about 50 seconds.

Both phones would have clock issues. Sometimes on power up the time on the clock would be shifted by a random amount. At other times during the day the clock would shift by a random amount.

Both phones would lock onto a weak tower in areas with both the Blue and Orange networks. After the weak signal would drop completely then the phone would lock onto a very strong tower. The phones would only lock onto the strong tower for about 6 minutes, then they would switch back to the weak tower. This cycle would repeat over and over.

In an attempt to resolve my issues Cingular swapped out my 64K SIM Cards and 6010 phones. Cingular could not resolve my issues. Out of pure frustration I bought a pair of Nokia 6010's from T-Mobile and had them unlocked. Now everything works great! Both of my phones now find the Cingular network instantly on power up and have no clock problems. I can now hold a strong signal in areas where I had trouble with the ENS phones. Looking at the problems I had I can't see where ENS did anything positive for me. What do the rest of you think?

Bootup time is a lot slower with ENS but once its up and running after first powerup any reboots after will be quicker.

As for the clock problem, you got me.

I haven't had any issues and my phone has a 64K SIM and ENS.

My 6340i, 90% of the time, does not update the clock... unless it registers onto TDMA. My e317 (ENS-Enabled), however, has no clock problems.
