yeah it works with cingular....jus tmake sure it is unlocked
reception is good in my area, i never have problem with it.

Easily. It is a quad-band phone. Moreover, I believe it is already unlocked and unbranded; the GX-30 was the Vodafone branded version. But you never know, so make sure it is unlocked.

The 850mhz doesn't work too well with Rogers in Toronto. I have used both Sony Ericsson S710a and GX32. The S710a reception was much better.
