I really need your advice.

I have been using Cingular for a long time, have a great minute plan (1,000 anytime with rollover) for a very low price. Also, I travel overseas several times a year so a global phone is pretty important.

My problem is that even though I live outside of a major metro area (chicago) my reception sucks. The only phone I've tried (and I've tried a ton) that gets pretty darn consistent reception is the nokia 6230. Nothing wrong with it but it sure is no frills.

So my question is where do I go (which phone)? Before you lay down the new Nokia..... is it really nice and loud and great screen and RFFFFF!!!!???
