I just had this bluetooth kit installed today, and let me say, it is awesome...
Speech Recongintion is awesome! You do have to speak clear but works well!! After initial pairing the first time it works automatically. When you get in the car and start it my bluetooth kit will turn on and 10 seconds later, the girl says, phone 1 ready and BAM, i am wireless!!! very loud volume also and people i spoke to said i sound great!!!

btw- i have unbranded treo 650 with 1.13 software on it!

I have the same setup but I can't get it to work. The moto is fine as it works flawlessly with my se 910a but it will not connect reliably to the treo. Evertime I start from scratch i can pair but not connect. What version bluetooth does your phonehave ?

unbranded treo 650 with the 1.13 row software on it right from the palm one site.....

Does the speech recognition work ? In other words can you press the blue key and the ihf1000 responds main menu ? Mine will answer and call through the phone but the hands free won't initiate. Also it loses the connection frequently.
