how do i mod a head set so i can put my own head phones on it?
i want to put a female 1/8 phone jack on it and /or a fm converter (and be a handsfree in my car)

basically find a 1/8", then chop off the earpeice part of the hs-3, then solder the two wires to the two wires on the jack.

or if you can't solder or dont have an iron, try a really bad job using electrical tape

1. get a 1/8" Y-adapter from radio shack
2. peel sticker off the HS3 to get to the screw and then unscrew it
3. open up HS3 and desolder the the cord running to the buds... 4 contacts.. also remove the plastic stuff holding it in
4. cut off one of the female 1/8" connectors on the Y-adapter with about 1-2" spare cable and then strip the lines, there should be 4 lines
5. solder the 4 lines to the contacts... Red=Right(R), Black/White=Ground
6. Use hot glue or super glue to hold the cable in place in case of snags.
7. put everything together
