I am new to the BB. When I receive an SMS or Level 1 message (from my BWC account), I get the normal notification (two vibes in my case) and am never reminded again. There is no continuous "noise" or vibrate option and I thought I read somewhere that this is not possible with the BB as it comes.

I ran across a Message Alerts program on webmessenger.com while doing a search. It specifically states that it can be used to setup filters to make the BB act like a pager. I noticed one of the things it has are "continuous alerts". Is this the type of thing I'm looking for? Basically, it will keep making noise (or vibrating) until I acknowledge the SMS or filtered email?

Sounds like you found what you need.

Do they offer a trial version of this software?! If so, give it a shot and see if it meets your needs.

Notifier is working on a new version with more of the reminder feature. Hopefully it will chirp you every 3 to 5 minutes. The problem with continuos alert is battery and others in the house.
