I just got a new unlocked treo 650 with firmware 1.28 and ROM version 1.13. The voice quality sounds a little metallic to me, sort of like a CDMA phone. I am kind of surprised, as I had had a cingular treo 650 that had a very GSM like call quality. Is this the experience of others as well? The sound in my earpiece has sort of a buzz sound (not the standard GSM buzz) and is unlike anything I have experienced on other treo 650's I have used.
