Can't Hotsync Anymore!!!

Last night I was hotsyncing like MAD and now I can't. When I press the hotsync button on my Treo 300, I hear to small, soft beeps on my pc and nothing gets installed. I run all software even though I've hotsynced with nothing running to start. Triple checked all connections, restarted a thousand times, uninstalled, reinstalled palm desktop software. Any ideas?
