Does anyone have a list of phones that support 64k SIM cards? I can't seem to find anything on Google or GSMArena or any of the other usual places.

Anything currently offered for sale will support it.

IIRC, the V400 had problems with it. It would give an error at startup, but it would work.

I've tried it in my 3595 with no problems. Of course, ENS wouldn't work, but can anyone say they've ever seen ENS do anything useful on the customer end, anyway?

You mean for sale anywhere? I hope you do.

Not totally on topic, I have an old GSM phone I want to use for awhile on Cingular, can I request a 32k SIM so I could use this phone whil my regular goes for

The Cingular 64k SIMs work in any phone, it's just a matter of whether or not the phone can support using the extra memory. For example I have a 6230a that apparently doesn't support it since it says I have a 250 contact capacity on my SIM.

The SIM capacity didn't change with the 64K SIM, it is for load balancing and is designed for ENS phones, the main problem is finding the phones that support ENS.

Oh really? News to me. I'm not really a Cingular customer, so I'm not up-to-date on the technology, at least the 64k SIM technology. I just grabbed a prepaid SIM from Cingular so that I could text message my friend in France. For some reason T-Mobile block SMS to providers in France...also Cingular international SMS is 5c as opposed to 15c with T-Mobile. I reevaluated my phone usage and realized that save the occasional call from mom, all I do is international text messaging so I think I may have to switch, provided I'd get the same 5c rate on international text messages. I assume if that's the rate with prepaid, then that would be the rate with a plan.

Oh T-Mobile how you have forsaken me

I believe there have been some phones that don't like the new SIMs. They'll give SIM errors and such.
