I figure I know the answer to this, but its worth asking.

Now that the Nano is replacing the Mini (the Mini has disappeared from the UK online apple store), does anyone reckon that there will be any deals to be had on the Mini? Either 4 or 6 gig.

You can find the 4GB and 6GB minis for cheap in apple's refurbished store...

Ahh, I'd forgotten about that - the UK refurbs only opens for a few hours on a wednesday morning if I remember right though.

you could probably still find it at local futureshops / bestbuy's or even the Source as they might still have some stock left. But the nano is alot better in my perspective compared to the mini

My Local Circuitcity (NE US) has More NEW Mini's than all the other Versions of Ipod Put together and that is Not even counting their returned/openbox/refurbed Mini's

I know I bought a refurb b4 i got my Nano and It wAs only 160 USD
the new ones are still 199 USD tho

2nd generation Mini is MUCH better than the Nano.

- cheaper price for more capacity
- non scratching aluminum case
- 18+ up to 26 hours!!! Battery life. Compared to 10 hours max on my nano.
