Need Old Palm Desktop Software for Treo300

My old Treo 300 is not jiving with the newest version of the Palm Desktop. I go to the palm website to download the old version and it wants the serial number on the back, which has long since scratched away. Does anyone know where I can download it at? Can anyone here email it to me? That would be great. Thanks.

does the imei not work? just dial *#06# and it shows up.

What are you talking about? Tried #06#, nothing, hit dial and operator came on.

Hello JBRONCFAN,

There are a couple of other possibilities regarding the serial number. That serial number should also be printed on a barcoded white label on the packaging that came with your device. Or, if you don't have that, you can still contact Palm if you previously registered your product. Fill out the email form with your name, address, email address and date of purchase, and they will look up your serial number and email it to you. This, according to the "Find your serial number" article in the Palm Knowledge Library.
