903 infra red

Can anyone help a sharp903 receive from a psion 5mx pda, I want to use the phone as a modem for the pda, it's worked with every other phone, seimens, SE, nokia, nec, it seems that the infra red port on the phone will not receive data

I cant recieve with mine either, but I can send ok I think.

um.. receiving should be fine. i receive contacts via infrared at timse. i don't know if it work as a modem tho.. the infrared. that i'm not sure about.
