I've got a Rogers 5600 a few weeks ago and absolutely love it.

I've got a problem though. The caller ID is supposed to bring up the picture of the incoming caller when I have the picture assigned. By default, the incoming call id template is some weird crab on a beach with the actual ID picture really small in the corner. I do not like this template and have tried to change it to "no template" in the Picture ID software. However, this never works and just remains on the stupid crab.

Even when I load up the HTC Picture ID manager program, it shows as "no template" used. But it stubbornly remains as the crab template (I think it's called "Beach").

Anyone have any idea why this is?

Same issue here, but with an unlocked AT&T SMT5600 running under Rogers in Alberta.

On my AT&T Branded SMT-5600, I dont have that particular problem but mine however displays my caller id picture (with no template) only sometimes... Sometimes it shows up, sometime it doesnt... and I have no idea why?

But, I would try a fake reset on your phones and see if that helps:

Power the phone off
While the phone is off, hold down both soft keys
Press power for 2 to 3 seconds
When you boot up, you'll see "Audiovox" for a second then youll see a black screen that says something about default format something. DO NOT HIT 0 OR YOU WILL FORMAT YOUR PHONE!

Instead, just hit another key and it should go away... Thus, a "fake reset"

I did this when I had another problem and it helped... So hey, its worth a shot...
