Nokia 6600 problem.

I've had my 6600 for over a year and haven't really done anything major to damage it internally. What has started to happen is that the phone seems to turn off on it's own and restart. Any idea what could be causing this to happen?

That isn't uncommon, depending on how often if happens. I will put mine down at night and occationally in the morning will awake to a WSOD (white screen of death). Probably happens once a month or less. My firmware is original AT&T, so it may help to have it upgraded.

That issue normaly is related with battery problems.
When you don't use correctly the battery, like let it uncharge completely before recharging, don't let it get the full charge without connecting the phone, and many other thing!
You can try to buy another battery and see if the problem is solved.
Or, some one told me, that if you let the battery in the freezer for 3 or 4 days it would get back to the normal functioning. If you do this, I'm not responsabel for the consequenses that might happent! But it used to work with the old mercury battery's.

Good Luck.

Post the result's if you take any of these mesures!!!

Fully discharging a Li-ion battery is bad for it.
