BWC: Mark Filtered messages as filed?

Hello, I suppose this is another (4.0) newbie question, is there way to mark any filtered message as automatically "filed" so they don't show up in the messages view on my 7100? I've gotten pretty good with organizing folders/saved searches but it would still help
