Getting new Sanyo 4900 - Questions

Ok I looked at the demo of the 4900 on Sanyo's website. I fell in love with the phone! Ok now for the questions... Where do I get the software that allows me to edit contacts, upload ringers, upload pictures, and use my vision on a laptop. I'm assuming there is a dialer program(but it doesn't dial, right? its vision) and a separate manager program? Where do I get the cable from? I saw one on Sanyo's site for $30 but no software. I saw one on future dial's website for the same price but it only includes a driver for software. Which cable do I get?
Help a newbie out to the 4900

You can find the software and cable for the 4900 at any Sprint retail store. The cost was about $69.95 for both, the last time I checked. Don't get it confused with the "Business Connection" stuff. However, most ringers, screensavers and games can be downloaded directly to your phone using the web and vision. Many of these are free and others usually cost about a $1. Most of the games are disappointing in my opinion on the 4900. But, if you use a mobile phone to make and receive phone calls (imagine that!!) I have yet to find a phone that is more user friendly, feature rich, with strong signals, great battery life, etc. than the Sanyo 4900 for the money. Right now the 4900 is free on Amazon and other places with new activation. Why spend $70 for software and a cable when the phone is free. Plus, I decided that I really would not recieve that much value or benefit from the cable software package - there are plenty of usable ringers on the phone out of the box and you will have limited need for any screensavers that you can not see in "sleep mode" anyway. You may find some games that entertain - but they are slow. I am saving my money for better phones and network (vision) cababilities I feel will hit the street in the next 3-6 months. Good luck with your choices. After being with Cingular for over 5 years, I am blown away by Sprint -- Vision needs a lot of work, however.

I am not familiar with the 4900 and laptop usage. I would do a search on this site and/or sprintusers.com for answers to that -- I have seen it before.

Here is what I got & their purpose:
Connection manager- used to connect your pc to vision or to use as a modem to dial into a private network, etc. It comes with the wireless connection kit at Sprint for $70 (way overpriced). You can also dl it from Sprint for free here Dialer software
Contact sync- used to sync your contacts between pc and phone. Can use Outlook's contacts.
SnapMedia- used to download ringers, images, screensavers to phone.
True-True.com also has the connection manager software, and I have uploaded him the contact sync and snapmedia, but he has not posted them yet.
Send this guy an email steel@purdue.edu he has both contact sync & snapmedia on his ftp server. If you are still having trouble, send me a private msg.
As far as the cable goes, Sanyo has it for $30 (though they have none in stock), there's a bunch on ebay too.
