awesome, most of the claims are indeed substantiated.

I have one question though, how do I join the class?

contact the firms listed on the complaint.

All 1.7 million Treo owners are automatically included (first sentence of the complaint). You'd have to contact the lawyers or maybe the court to be excluded.

This lawsuit sounds exactly like my saga with Palm. I had four 600's in the course of less than a year. I did write a letter to VZW who ended up giving me a 650 as a replacement though for no additional charge. I know VZW wasn't responsible, but they were the the marketer for the phone and did hold up their end of the deal by offering what they thought to be a good replacement. I agree with every point of the suit. Palm should be held liable for the "refurbished" replacements and with providing relief due to lost data and time due to the poor quality of their product. As for the 650, I am still holding my breath.

Well, I have had my Treo 650 for three days now. Between my own time, and time on the phone with both Rogers and Treo support, I have spent (?wasted) at LEAST 10 hours just trying to get the phone up and running and synced!!! Along with that, I have spent a huge amount of time repairing my Outlook files as duplicates, etc have shown up.

Not a great start. Seems like a beautiful little phone, but I sure hope things improve from here...
