Video Converting Help - VX8100

I'm trying to convert a Friends episode to play on my phone. I have the episode saved in avi format. I've tried using Mpegable and the settings found in the second post here but when I put that on my sd card & put it in my phone, I could get the audio to play, but the video was just a blank white screen. The time showed 24:19, same as the original. Then I tried using SUPER to convert the .avi to 3g2 as described in the 8th or so post here When i transferred the SUPER video, it didn't play at all. I clicked on the video and the screen stayed blank & the time showed 00:00. I'd click play but it'd turn right back into the pause button. Does anyone have any idea what I could be doing wrong? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

did you change the settings to fit the phone?
