Cingular PTT Treo?

I heard a rumor that a Treo PTT may be coming out! Has anyone heard this?

not happening, kodiak software does not work with palm as of right now. that is what i have heard

Actually Kodiak is official partners with PalmSource "Palms New Name". for more information go to http://www.kodiaknetworks.com/partners/partners.html. As I noticed with the Treo 650 supplied by Cingular Wireless (SBC) I found that the side button under the volume could be (not positive) a PTT button. After talking to Media Relations of Cingular Wireless they told me that there will be many phones that can have it. But you will have to either download the software on the phone or go to your local Cingular Store. Cignular PTT is now rescheduled to release mid october through mid november. It has not been said if it is just a AD release or a full release. One day I hope they make walkie talkie service that all providors can use but Cingular talk to Nextel on walkie talkie...wouldnt that be cool?
