Dead V3 Help Needed

(Click here to view the original thread with full colors/images)

Dear all,
I was given a V3 (silver) after its previous owner try to do a flex/flash with an older version or something like that. The result he killed the phone.
I have gone through many pages but no final answer. Let explain...
Upon pressing on the V3 turns on the keypad and after 2 seconds it turn it off and then again a turn on for a sec and then dead. I tried the On + * + # to start it in Bootloader but no succes. When I connect to the PC does the same the computer seems to recognise it for a second and immidiatly disconnect the phone. I guess it is really dead.
Is there any other way to force the phone to be at least in some mode to upload new flex/flash.
At this point the phone is a paper weight so extreme messures can be taken (i.e. taken the phone apart). Perhaps there are more keys to be pressed... any help will be highly appreciated.

Thank god when I got my V635 it had the latest Flash/Flex versions because while I was waiting for it to arrive I had been reading the forums about to update all of the software on the phone and I was scared ******** to do it because I thought what this guys friend did would happen to me...

This has been covered numerous times, and aparently you arn't searching at all.

So here's your information, in the hopes you guys sticky this and close and say this link will fix your dead phone as long as the PDS isn't dead.

http://www.smart-clip.com/pinout_p2k_to_usb.pdf

View it, mod your cable, it'll make your phone turn on into Flash Mode, flash it, turn it on and it should be good.

So overall as long as the NVRAM isn't completely toast, and there's a little life, you can ressurrect it.

Hello,

Sorry to say that V3 is using a mini usb ... the cable pinout does not apply to V3. Try holding # and * while inserting battery and see if it can get connected.
Once you get connected, flash the phone with an MP (monster pack)

PM me if still need help

regards

luizfisio, I tried everything you can imagine... the only solution was to bring it to the store and check. It seems that it was a hardware problem probably triggered by the software problem. They changed I do not know how many parts but it took like 3 weeks.
Sorry to tell you this...
