Cannot Sync Calendar and Contacts

Im a new treo 650 owner and I cant seem to sync my calendar and contacts. In the sync log, everything is ok, but for the calendat and contacts it sayd failed. What do I need to do? Thanks

I ran into the same problem a while back. Here is on thing you can try

1-Download the free ap "dbScan" found here: http://www.pimlicosoftware.com/utilities.htm

2-Sync it to your Treo(obviously you need to do a "Custom" sync and selt "Do Nothing" for Calendar and contacts this time.

3-The do into the dbScan ap and select "History". your screen will go blank (all white) for @30 sec to a minute.

4-when the scan is done it'll show how many bad records you have, get rid of them.

5-Then do a Hot sync, but go into "custom" and select "Handheld overwrites Descktop". Unfortunately thats the only way it works on my 650, but at least it syncs. I just have to remember to do a customized sync when i hot sync
