Inserting pauses treo 650?

O.K., finally getting the hang of my Treo 650. My question is this; when I am saving my contacts phone numbers, how can I insert a pause or a # after a number ( hard pauses, and waits )? I used this feature with all my Motorola's, and came in handy, especially when accessing my voice mail at work, or dialing and extension after dialing a phone number. I can't seem to find out how to do this with the Treo...

Thank you again, and appreciate the help!

You'll need to save the name/number as a favorites page/button. On the bottom right of the screen where you enter the data there is a button labelled more. You can enter your extra digits here. It can't be done through add new contacts as far as I know.

I have yet to find a spot where you can insert any type of timed pause or hard pause....if you do find where you can put these in, please share.

Thanks,

From your phone screen, press the menu button and select edit favotites pages. Select an empty spot and enter you contact info, select more and enter your extra gigits. You can select soft or hard pause. You can even assign your favorites page to a button for speed dail.

Just to make sure I'm getting this right. The options are for either just a soft or hard pause correct? There is not an option for timed pauses? Also with the hard pause. Is there any other way of initiating the hard pause other than the "extra digits" button all the way to the right of the screen? Cause for me I have the touch screen disabled during phone calls, and it'd be easier if there was a button on the keypad, rather than having to wait for the call to connect and then scroll over to the right and hit the center key. Just curious.

Thanks,
