WM Encoder can brodcast streaming media. So if you have a TV tunner card in your computer you can broadcast tv to your phone. You just have to enter the proxy in the Data Settings and go the URL where its broadcasting at. Take note that it will be choppy because GPRS isn't the fastest data there is.

OH man thats alot to type. If you have a port on the back that has a coaxil then you probably got a tv tunner card, if not you can buy one.
WM Encoder = Windows Media Encoder. Go to www.microsoft.com and search its easy to find.

The above link is the same concept but with audio, just select video under Device Options. In the drop down box beside video select the TV tunner as the source.

You can also use ORB (again, requires that your PC have a TV tuner), the software can be downloaded and a free account setup at www.orb.com. They only list a few compatible TV tuners, but I've read a number of other brands work as well...I know the Nvidia NVTV tuner works...it runs around $65 for a single tuner card and $135 for the dual tuner NVTV.
Anyway...ORB also will allow you to watch a few 'web TV' broadcasts, but none are mainstream channels...it (ORB) also allows you to access all of your pictures, video, music content on your PC from any web interface (including your phone)...I use ORB some w/ my SMT 5600 and it works great, although somewhat slow...it'll be very nice w/ a new EDGE enabled device like the Wizard...

I tried ORB a while ago with my SMT5600 and I wasn't too happy with the quality. Even when I connect at 42kbit/s (which I think it pretty fast for GPRS) the video was low quality (you can't steam video and audio @ only 5kb/s).
It should work better on the SP5 thanks to Edge.

Yea, but you are going to have that problem regardless I think...no service (paid or free ORB-ish type software) is going to produce very good quality over GPRS...

Exactly. GPRS just doesn't have enough bandwidth for streaming media.
