SMT 5600 email attachments

Alright! I got my 5600 - great phone. I've got it sending and receiving email, have received attachments of various types. (this may not seem like much to you guys, but I've learned a lot over the last two days!) When I try to send an attachment, though, here is what happens:

I select the file, choose Send via email, I get to address, CC, write a message, and when I hit Send, I don't get a choice of which email account to use. It gets sent to the outbox of an account called "Outlook Email". This account is not configured for anything. When I try to set it up, my only menu choice is New (I can't choose Edit - it grayed out). When I configure it as New, I have to enter a name, and it becomes another account. My email with attachment just sits in "Outlook Email" outbox.

Any suggestions? Do I need a different email program, like ProfiMail?

Here's another thing - this is with Cingular, and we are a long-time Blue customer. The phone came with all the mMode stuff on it, but I was migrated to Cingular (part of a big corporate move). I had to set up my email with smtp.mymmode.com, etc. All the attachments come in as a series of numbers and letters with the extension ".att". When I send the file to my laptop, I don't know what type of program it is, so I have to experiment with what will open it (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, CAD viewer, etc.) Is there anything that would make this easier?

Thanks!
