I'm curious if the customer service guy was telling the truth or yanking my chain.

Right now I have Cingular and want to changeto my wife's account over at Verizon. Anyway he told me that my phone isn't compatable with Verizon and I need to buy a new phone.

It's a Siemen's SL56.

So, any thoughts on this?

Siemens SL56 is a GSM fone and will only work on a GSM network. Verizon is CDMA thus you would need to purchase a new fone if you switched networks.
