Hey everyone.
Where do I find a PC to Phone Cable for the Sanyo VI-2300

I need to find one in Ontario. ? Any suggestions? Is it one that works with other phones?

Get a data cable off e-bay for an scp-8100. Works perfectly.

it was said that a sanyo spc8100 sync cable will work with the vi2300 series. Great. Will the car charger that is compatible with the sync cable work as well? (the PDA - USB Sync cable & the PDA - USB car charger)

I will enjoy using the car charger in conjuction with the sync cable.
About the use w/laptop for modem, I am not worried about that

, I have a wireless provider that provides me access to the net. The only thing I use my modem for is to perform direct faxes or telenet.

I would like to make sure though that the sync cable will allow me to transfer data such as pictures and ring tones? Will it work with the Calendar and task list too?

The data (sync) cable will transfer whatever you can get the phone and remote program to agree upon. As far as the capabilities that both will support I can only say that I've personally transfered my contacts (phone book). As for ring tones, photos, etc. I can't say for sure. Check Future Dial. Their software would probably be your best bet.

Will your data cable work with the phone as a modem? Conflicting info says the 2300 will not work as a modem. If you're getting it to work, where did you get your cable? I would like to use my 2300 as a modem with my Ipaq PDA. Any suggestions on how to do it?
