Hi all, I've searched the forums but I couldn't find an exact answer.

I just bought a Locked Cingluar Treo 650. It doesnt come with any software but I have a syncing cable.

Is there some software that I should download before trying to unlock the phone remotely? Where do I download the software?

For example, with Windows Mobile you need to download activesync to get your comp talking to the phone, any similar app I need to get for my Treo 650?

I also want to just unlock the phone. Do I need any software installed on my PC before I use a remote unlocking service?

I am currently use a Cingular Branded T-mobile Service phone. i got it unlocked from my phone salesman. i am pretty sure if u ask around you can find some store or better yet someone in the forums that can unlock it for u. maybe even for free.

Try this website. The site is outdated and I think they now unlock the Treo 650. http://www.50fulton.com call them and ask. I had my v400 Flashed from them to get rid of the Cingular branding.

If all else fails, there's a guy in NY than unlocks the treo 650. Send me a PM and I can give you his contact information. I have had him unlock phones for me as well.

Of course, if you've been a Cingular customer for at least 3 months they'll give you the unlock code.
