Bitpim connection problems

When i first got my phone i was able to use bitpim to transfer renamed mp3 files over to my phone and have them play as ringtones. I renamed these files extensions to .mid and everything was gravy. Now everytime i try and add a new .mid file to my ringtones folder, i get the error... "phone is not responding while manipulating the file system". I am connected to my powerbook through the bluetooth port, the phone is active, and i have no problem transfering my pictures from the phone to the computer. there is only an error when trying to add the .mid files to the mr folder. i used to have this happen once or twice before it would work, now it just won't add any. Has anyone else had this problem, or know how i might be able to fix it? I'm running 0.7.36 as of now, but i also had the problems with 0.7.34

i got that also but it was just because my phone wasnt connected when i was hitting the + in the filesystem. try 0.7.37
