I told the tech what kind of phone I had and he just looked up my settings and helped me manually put the WAP and MMS settings into my 903. So if anyone who needs help for their 903 w/T-Mobile service here's what you gotta do: Call 611 (Customer Service) and press 0 after the prescreening to check if you're a customer. Tell rep your problem and ask to be connected to tech dept. Then tell tech. dept your problem then they'll say they can't find your phone on their list. Then tech dept. will transfer you to UNSUPPORTED HANDSET DEPT. Once you're they're do the same thing and the tech here can find the settings for the 903! Note: Depending on if you have the Japanese, Euro, or HK firmware, the model of the phone and it's settings will be different when you tell tech what kind of phone you have so make sure you have the right one otherwise you might not get what you need! I hope this helps!

If you tell T-mobile if you have either the V903 or 903SH, they give you different settings for the phone. Also if you have a hybrid phone, it makes it a little harder cuz you'll have to try both. THE PROXY SETTINGS, THE APN, AND EVEN THE PORT # THAT WERE ALL POSTED ON THE FORUM DID NOT I REPEAT DID NOT WORK FOR MY PHONE. I ACTUALLY GOT SETTINGS FROM A T-MOBILE TECH THAT WERE A LIL' DIFFERENT THAN WHAT SOME PEOPLE HAVE HERE. YOU MIGHT ASK ARE THESE SETTINGS ORIGINAL? FROM WHAT I'VE READ SO FAR YES. AM I GONNA POST THEM UP HERE? HELL NO. I DON'T HAVE TIME FOR THIS S#IT. IF YOU WANT IT, GO GET IT YOURSELF OR DROP ME A LINE IF YOU HAVE THE SAME PROBLEM AS ME. SORRY IF I SOUND LIKE A HARD *** BUT SOME OF YOU WANNA ACT ALL FUDDY DUDDY. I've read pretty much every f'n forum on here dealing w/T-mobile settings. As far as I know I'm the first one w/a problem like this on this forum. Not to much info on here for hybrid 903's. Either people make assumptions or guesses. But it's all good though. I'M OUT.

i have a white 903 SH and i believe it's japanese version, because it only has english and japanese, the thing is, i bought this phone around end of october, sofar i am only experiencing couple problems; which includes one touch power off, restart automatically few times when i got into the data folder, and the last problem keyboard has to be turned on each time i turned off the phone. i bought this phone in taiwan and i am still in taiwan, but it's the VODAFONE, not the newest taiwanese version (fareast tone), so i am all confused with these test mode and full lock mode. seriously i love my jp firmware and i don't mind turning mp3 file into ACC. but how do i know if i have test mode or is it full locked. cuz simply all the 3 problems above don't bother me at all. does that mean i have full unlock already?, and is the full lock still a jp software? don't really care about HK, EURO, UK firmware, i am talking about the JP FW, they have test mode unlock and full unlock right now am i correct?, the reason i am asking all these test mode or full unlock is because when i bought the phone i could already use the phone with taiwanese sim card, and the seller never told me about unlocking the phone or so. and i really want to know more about my phone, btw this one will be bringing back to toronto, wonder if it will work with my fido sim card. |

Are there people out there who are not Sharp affiliated but can fix my phone if I send them it? Also, does anyone know of a parts list or schematics diagram of the phone? I'm wondering if the CCD is part of the whole camera assembly and if I would need a whole new camera assembly rather than just the CCD. |

it's been almost a month and my 903 hasn't given me any problems until now, it freezes when i try to 'take pictures' or when i try to disable/enable bluetooth or open my contacts, it just stays there, i also noticed that it's been a little slow in accessing the menus, i'm not sure if it's a firmware problem or the actual phone itself.. should i get it repaired?? should i perform a master reset???
i have 1yr warranty but i went elsewhere to upgrade its firmware to euro.. does that mean if i ever try and get the phone replaced they won't do it??

? The emphasis is on RINGtone - it's a video that plays when your phone rings, instead of just an audio file. Doesn't have anything to do with the type of call...
