Audiovox 8900 Verizon...

how can i make my mom's phone (that doesnt work anymore) its like a LG or something...how can i make her service work on my audiovox 8900? is there a way i can do it myself? because the audiovox doesnt have service on it...but my mom's does...but her phone is broken. I know that cingular has chips and u can just switch them...does verizon have something similar to that? or do i HAVE to go to verizon and ask them to do it?

No, the 8900 does NOT have a SIM card.
If both phones are Verizon, then you may be able to get them to activate the 8900 on her account.
