they are un comparable :

1.57 milion colors vs 65K .
58K colors outer display vs one line B/W screen
40 poly vs 16
12MB memory for pictures vs dont know !
better camera vs u know how it is
GPS vs no GPS
and i dont think its anywere near ugly. GD keypad thats ugly

its a CDMA 1x anyways . isnt this the same CDMA used in the NA ?

Posted by: lost_rebel

I think you sumed it up....CDMA and Sprint will probably carry which means no real coverage! I will stick with GSM thankyou. Also has there been a price posted?

i love this phone... looks better than GD and features are awesome.... but i am not switching (even if i could) from GSM and t68i is still the best.... (for me at least)...

Posted by: lost_rebel

Actually I heard the T-68 has a problem with the camera plugged in. Crashes frequently. I have not bought a camera for mine...sits in a drawer all of the time so I can not confirm this. Anythoughts MDS?

i haven't tried any cams for the phone... i am not into that kind of things... i don't take pics with my phone, i don't wap .... i just use it as a phone... so no feedback on that... i got a decent digicam for taking pics and fast internet connection to browse around, so these take care of all my needs, the phone is a phone... i do use the hbh though....

yep right this phone is better,

but when i said i prefer gd87 it was for the design of the mobile... not the color etc! i know this phone is really better than gd

++

really? Guess you stay in metro areas, I could not stand to have a phone that doesn't work due to lack in coverage!

Posted by: [MDS]

the casio's design is better, imo...

Posted by: lost_rebel

Yup, your opinion and you know what they say about opinions. Mine is the only one that counts and no by S!@t does not stink!

still think casio has a better design....

Posted by: seiferoth

Not thrilled with the design, but the features sound awesome. 1.57 million colors, it's a freaking computer display under there.

I think it looks sweet, and feature-wise it seems even better.

Sign me up...oh wait its Japanese? ****....

If I could get this thing set up on Telus I'd be the happiest guy in the world...even with half the features crippled or disabled.

I use my T68mi with the MCA-20 cam and never had a lock or freeze up. It works great.

why the hack all the awsome lookin phones cdma????
And i have yet to see a GSM phoen with external color screen..Sprint already got their sanyo 5300 with external color lcd....I think the v205 shouldve had the external color lcd of the s300...anyways have fuy guys!!!

WOW that phone looks incredible... too bad it's not gsm

Posted by: psycho-

Looks liike quite a few people needed to justify their GD-87 purchase to themselves...even to phones that are on different networks and use different technology.

If that was the case, my Startac 7868 was the coolest phone in the world..only because i owned it.

Get a life

Not sure what you're talking about here, but I look for GSM phones only at the moment because I require service using pre-paid SIMs when I travel to other countries.

Not sure why you're coming off so harsh there psycho-

my t68i (r2a) w/ mca-25 would sometimes not allow calls to go through when i detached the camera... since upgrading to r6a, i have had no probs

back on topis, that phone does look mighty expensive though

Looks like a great phone with plenty of features but personally I don't give a flip about these type of phones... get it?
