HELP! e 398 dead! need instruction

anybody,
i have e 398 mtv.... i flashed with wrong flash (my brother)R374_G_0E.40.98R_reflash_MOTOX
now the phone is completly dead... it can not be detected at all on a pc.
Please can any body guide me thry the proces of recovering.
My brother said he did it with a pst program...
Please help cuz i dont have an idea wat is that!

try booting it into bootloader ( * + # + PWR ) and iif it goes in plug your phone in and flash it with the correct one....

Press the * # Power buttons at the same time on your phone. If you can get it into bootloader by doing this then as krappy said:

ok, I did the start with *# but i can hear a click and thats it!
I plug it to the pc via usb and the massage is the usb device its not recognized, in the system directory of the pc shows plug in fo pctel 2304wt v.9xmdc as motorola modem?
