Serial Format for VXXX Baud etc?

Proposing to hack about with the memory of a V300 via a serial interface.
(Test kit is an old Sendo).
Can't find info on the serial code structure or word length.

Most net searches have resulted in links to hardware clips
or old info on a Mororola custom DSC interface, nothing to
date on the V300 though.

Any pointers?
