Help setting up Web Pro & VersaMail for Zire 72

When I try to check mail I get this error: "Unable to resolve name pop.sbcglobal.yahoo.com. Check your DNS settings or enter the IP address for you mail server."

If I try to access the net with Web Pro I get this error message: "Host does not exist. Please make sure you entered the host name correctly, and try again, [Comm. 11]."

I have contacted SBC and Palm and neither one has been able to help me!

I have a 2Wire router by the way.

Thanks so much for anyone's response!

No one has responded, so do you think there is no resolution for this problem? Is it possible that it might work at some wi-fi hotspot? Is it possible my router is blocking my Zire from access?

I'm frustrated because I spent the $$$ to buy the darn wi-fi card and they won't take it back...so I have a very expensive piece of pooh!

I am having the same exact problem with my Treo. I have a 2wire home portal, and am using an enfora wifi sled. I can connect to other wifi sources, but I cannot connect through my 2wire. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

FYI. I got my treo to work for my setup: Treo 650, Enfora wifi sled, 2wire homeportal, and SBC DSL.

To get my treo to connect, I had to set the connection settings to the specific DNS servers for my region. In the 2wire homeportal, you can find the DNS primary and secondary servers in the Broadband Link Details.
They will be something like 206.13.28.11 and 206.13.29.11 if you are in the west coast.

I found that setting my treo to use a static IP address was more successful. The 2wire homeportal has a reserved range of static IP addresses. You can find the acceptable ranges in the homeportal under the Advanced Home Network Settings.
