right now i'm going to get a k750i and use it with cingular. it doesn't have 850, but a few have said that they still get reception together. in case the k750 just sucks in reception for me, will there be any good 2mp 850mhz phones coming out soon?

Seriously, the amount of mega-pixels on a camera (or a camera phone) doesn't determine the quality of the pictures it will take. Does it matter? Sure. Still, the lens (or quality of the lens) combined with the type of sensor (CCD vs. CMOS) and how well these features are implemented and executed makes as much of a difference as the amount of mega-pixels. Mega-pixels will affect the resolution more than it will affect the quality of the pictures. As to your original question, the Nokia 6270 (when it's release) should satisfy you want for a 2MP camera-phone, since it's quad-band.
