I've been having problems w/putting on ringtones to my 8100, so I think this time I'll back up everything via Bitpim. Do I just backup the brew directory? Is there another directory to backup just in case I cause my phone to malfunction again?

if you aren't modifying the /dload directory, then you will not be able to see the ringtones you are uploading into /brew/16452/mr directory. The two files you are looking to backup are suggestively named my_ringtone.dat and my_ringtonesize.dat; these are the files you theorectically need to delete to have your other ringtones show up in GetItNow - this being said, i do not have an 8100, i have the 9800 and have been unable to get this to work.
