I use the nokia 3595 phone here in california with a 32k sim card. Is there a way I can tell which tower I am using. The new blue tower or the Tmobile tower (formerly cingular orange) Thank you

You can manually select the network with the Nokia 3595. Once you set the selection to manual, you can do a network search to see the names of the networks at your location. Follow the steps below:

Select a system
You can select how your phone chooses a wireless network, as there may be more
than one available. The selection you make stays active until you change it or
change the SIM card.
1 Press Menu 4-6-5 (Settings > Network services > System selection).
2 Scroll to Automatic or Manual, then press Select.
Automatic: The phone automatically selects one of the available systems.
Manual: The phone searches for available systems and then lists them. Scroll to
the one you want, then press Select. The phone looks for a network and
displays the result. If you lose connection while in Manual mode, the phone
asks you to select a network again.

You will see the names of the networks. You can try to select one by highlighting it and hitting the Softkey Select. If the network is not allowed you will be told and asked to select something else. Remember to set the selection back to Automatic or you might find yourself with no signal if that manually selected network is not available.

I do not have a manual select option available to me. Any other thoughts? Thanks
