Aud.Vox 8910 - VM - little problem

ok

so, my phone clip and datacable just came in
got the drivers installed, good to go
phone clip fits the phone, good to go,
using BitPim, good to go
can connect and save info via the file system tab in bitpim, good to go

running in to problems though

Virgin Mobile has "Real Ringtones" you know, they sound like mp3s
but when i use bitpim and save the rintones i had bought they are
in a *.mid format. so does any one know how i can take one of my own mp3's
turn it into a "Real Ringtone" so my Vox CDM8910 can play them back

cause i uploaded a *.qcp tone and that plays back but EXTREAMLY low and muffled.

i tried to see if any one had this same problem in another thread i was unable to locate this, but if there is another thread that can solve this problem i would like to be linked to it

long story short, i would like to know how to convert my mp3's, wavs, or wma's into *.mid, or "Real Ringtones" like the ones i bought from Virgin Mobile

What about ADDING a new ringtone instead of replacing any one know if thats possible?
